East African Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences: A Nationally Accredited Journal.

East African Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (EAJVAS) is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed open access journal published biannually by the College of Veterinary Medicine, Haramaya University. EAJVAS is dedicated to publishing original scientific papers and technological information on aspects of veterinary and animal sciences to the users in Eastern Africa and elsewhere in the world. It also enhances the exchange of ideas among scientists engaged in research and development activities and accepts papers from anywhere else in the world.

The types of manuscripts accepted include original quantitative and qualitative articles, reviews, meta-analyses, case reports, clinical scenarios/observations, brief reports, short communications, and letters to the editors. Every article accepted by peer review is given a full technical and language edit to make all papers highly accessible to the international audiences.
